20 – 30 kW generator sets commonly use 2.5 – 4.5 L engines. The H-900 is the recommended unit — heavy-duty industrial cabinet, 900 ml/min hydrogen output, rated up to 7.0 L. D-900 extends coverage up to 16.0 L for large stationary plant. Units feed directly from the generator starting battery at 12 / 24 V DC, avoiding the older AC-inverter arrangement.
